The first UtopiaMarkets Poesía will take place this weekend at Utopia 126, a modernist factory which has been transformed into a unique space in the Poblenou neighbourhood in Barcelona. The list of participants includes poets, visual poets, publishing companies and assembled magazines, who will be presenting and selling their works in the different stalls.
UtopiaMarkets Poesía forms part of the UtopiaMarkets project, which consists of three markets dedicated to poetry, photography and illustration, which is celebrated annually during three weekends as part of Utopia 126, of which Banco Sabadell Foundation is the main collaborator.
The objective of this project is to vindicate talent in the city and the quality of the works, to give them more visibility, offering the public a different experience in Barcelona.
