This weekend marks the end of the Schubertíada de Vilabertran, the festival that pays homage to Franz Schubert with two concerts: today, Friday, at 21:30h with soprano Anna Lucia Richter and pianist Michael Gees, and tomorrow, Saturday, at 21:30 Camerata432 with conductor and violinist Gordan Nikolic.
Starting this weekend, you can visit the Art<35 Banco Sabadell 2016 exhibition at the Sala Parés in Barcelona. This exhibition shows the work of 10 young artists younger than 35 who have completed their studies, or are currently studying at one of the schools of Fine Arts in Spain and who have completed the first stage of their training. The competition called by the School of Fine Arts of the University of Barcelona, organised by the ART<35 Association, and with the involvement of the Trama gallery, the Sala Parés and the Banco Sabadell Foundation, aims to select artists to give them the chance to exhibit their work.
Lastly, we recommend visiting the FotoColectania headquarters in Barcelona, to see the exhibition ‘Vivian Maier. In Her Own Hands’, or visiting the exhibition ‘Rostros do país’ in Galicia, the city of culture, which gives homage to the Galician people through 70 photographs taken by Xurxo Lobato.
