“Immunotherapy is applicable to all types of tumours, it is giving spectacular results and when it works, it’s a true miracle”, Dr Elena Sancho, researcher at the IRB, has formed part of the panel of Banco Sabadell Foundation for Biomedical Research.
We have spoken to Dr Elena Sancho to find out more about immunotherapy, a type of cancer treatment which is based on our body’s immune system to fight the disease. Dr Sancho has formed part of the panel of Banco Sabadell Foundation for Biomedical Research in different editions.
