The AERTEC Solutions Challenge programme will be jumping on board the Imagine Express 2018 thanks to three scholarships awarded by Banco Sabadell Foundation to enable two students from the programme to participate, together with one of their engineers, in the next edition which will be held between 23-26 February 2018.
The engineer and international consultant, specialising in aeronautics, is launching the second edition of the Solutions Challenge, an initiative which seeks to capture the talent of young university students to offer solutions to multiple challenges in the area of unmanned air vehicles. The aim is for university students to be able to collaborate with the aerospace division at AERTEC Solutions, to define how an unmanned aerial system may cover real business opportunities. The primary objective is to develop a long term relationship between the university and the company within the framework of a technological-industrial project, in such a way that students participate in a project that will be developed and assigned to the industry, and not in a laboratory or research centre.
This year, we are joining the programme by offering 2 of the AERTEC Solutions Challenge finalists the chance to jump on board the Imagine Express Train 2018, in which, during four days, they will travel from Barcelona to London, accompanied by multiple experts who will guide them in the development of their business ideas, speeding them up and determining their feasibility during the train journey. Once they reach the British capital, the dreamers will submit their ideas to a panel formed of potential international investors in the famous London Eye. The finalists will also present their proposals at 4YFN, the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
