Up to 14 concerts form the program this year with new musical trends via improvisation and electronic instruments. It is a different sound experience in Barcelona that offers the opportunity of discovering creative, singular melodies.
Sonia Mulero, assistant director of the Banco Sabadell Foundation, stresses that working with concerts such as Sampler Series is to “contribute to promoting avant-garde artistic expression to foster the emerging talent of young people”.
Chief among the artists showcased by this edition is the prestigious Danish composer and artist, Simon Oteen-Andersen who will be responsible for inaugurating this season with this spectacular ‘Staged Night; or that of the oldest instrumental band of Norway, the Oslo Sinfonietta, which will present a program of chamber and electronic orchestra of the Nordic countries.
