In Barcelona, we recommend that you go to the ‘Nou Emsemble, Frames Percussion, Axel Dörner y Ramon Prat’ concert which forms part of Sampler Series, on Saturday 6th May at Arts Santa Mònica at 18h. You can also visit the recently opened exhibition World Press Photo 2017 at the Centro de Cultura Contemporánea de Barcelona (CCCB) which showcases the best of photojournalism.

Amigos de la Ópera de Sabadell recommend that we go and watch Carmen, the last and the most famous opera by Bizet, which is being held today, Friday, and Sunday 7th May at the La Farándula de Sabadell theatre.

For those of you who prefer to enjoy art exhibitions, we recommend three exhibitions: ‘Da árbore á cadeira’ at the Centro Gaiás de la Cidade da Cultura museum; ‘Autogestión’ at Fundación Joan Miró, which reflects upon contemporary art and the concept of DIY (do it yourself); and ‘Fenómeno Fotolibro’ at the headquarters of Fundación Foto Colectania.
