Jazzing, the Festival and Campus (for young people and teachers) return on 4, 5 and 6 September, bringing you some very special editions: promoting local talent and combining live and streamed acts and classes. The opening act will take place today, 2 September, at 6.30pm at the Espai Josep Bota de Fabra i Coats in Barcelona, where Joan Chamorro (Festival director) will perform together with Andrea and Carla Motis. The press conference will be streamed live on Joan Chamorro’s YouTube
channel.

The artists (teachers) invited to take part in this edition are: Perico Sambeat, Carlos Martín, Andrea Motis, Èlia Bastida, Joan Marc Sauqué, Carla Motis, Manel Fortià and Don Sickler (live streamed from the other side of the Atlantic, in New York). The Festival will end with a concert by the Sant Andrew Jazz Band, along with all those invited to take part in the most spectacular edition yet of the Jazzing festival. In the
poetic words of Joan Chamorro: “life will go on for as long as the sun and moon
continue to give us day and night”. The jazz beat must go on.
