The Euskadi Symphonic Orchestra will be on a concert tour this week, from today until Saturday 4th November. During these four days, they will stop at San Sebastian, Pamplona, Bilbao and Vitoria, under the direction of conductor Robert Treviño with Joaquín Achúcarro on the piano to play M. Ravel’s Concerto for piano and orchestra and D. Shostakovich’s Symphony no. 11 “The year 1905”.
-Monday 30th October at 20:00 at the Kursaal Auditoriuma in San Sebastian
-Tuesday 31st October at 20:00 at the Baluarte Auditoriuma in Pamplona
-Thursday 2nd November at 20:00 at the Teatro Principal Antzokia in Vitoria
-Friday 3rd November at 20:00 at the Kursaal Auditoriuma in San Sebastian
-Saturday 4th November at 20:00 at the Palacio Euskalduna Jauregia in Bilbao
More about the Euskadi Orchestra
The Euskadi Symphonic Orchestra was created in 1982 and is the first symphonic orchestra to represent an autonomous region in Spain. Its current conductor is Robert Treviño, and it includes musicians from all over the world: Basque Country, France, Poland, Australia, USA, Russia and Romania. The Orchestra gives over 100 concerts each season, in a number of different cycles and together with different national and international musical institutions.
