Emerging talent takes the stage at the Fringe Festival

The fifth edition of the Torroella de Montgrí Fringe Festival will be holding a total of 18 free concerts given by young musicians selected by the best colleges and conservatories of music in Europe.

From 26 to 29 July, concerts will take place in a number of different musical styles, including classical music, pop-rock, contemporary music, jazz, blues, flamenco, folk and fusion music. The concerts will take place at the Museu Palau Solterra-Fundació Vila Casa in Torroella de Montgrí and at the Molinet in L’Estartit.

40 creators will take part in the eighth meeting of new artists in the city of culture

From 26 to 30 August, the City of Culture will be holding the VIII Encuentro de Artistas Nuevos (eighth meeting of new artists), an artistic residence in which artists can display their creative projects and share their professional experiences with other emerging and consolidated artists, curators and specialist press.

During the Encuentro, the Foro Abierto (Open Forum) will also take place, in which 40 participants will give a presentation of their work and their personal creative projects. They will also have the opportunity to learn about other creative paths and processes through conferences given by consolidated artists.
