This weekend, the Sampler Series festival for the creation of new music, is organising 3 concerts at the Auditori de Barcelona with Nao Albet & bcn216 ‘Words and music’. The concerts will be held this Friday and Saturday at 20.00, and at 18.00 on Sunday.
For those of you who prefer family trips to the theatre, we recommend that you go and watch ‘Moby Dick, a journey through theatre’ at Teatre Lliure de Montjuic in Barcelona, interpreted by the actors and actresses of La Kompanyia Lliure.
Another one of our cultural recommendations for this weekend is in Valencia, where you can visit the exhibition ‘Perdidos en la ciudad’ at IVAM, an exhibition which brings together 300 works (paintings, sculptures, photographs and artists’ videos), which take us on a journey through different cities in the world through different points of view. And, at the Museo Arqueológico Municipal Casa in the Crevillente park, you can visit ‘Guardianes de piedra’, hosted by MARQ. Until 5th March, this travelling exhibition is a tribute to the more than 230 castles and fortresses in the province of Alicante.
In Barcelona, you can visit the recently opened exhibition ‘Ser plural. Yo soy los otros, los otros son yo’, the new virtual installation at Espai 13 Fundación Joan Miró within the cycle of exhibitions ‘One foot out. Expeditions and diasporas’ which offers an analytical view through the work of six young artists in diaspora. This new exhibition, of the artistic duo Momu & No Es presents this work which examines the symbolic dimension of places which form part of our virtual journey.
