Agenda for the weekend of 13 May: Barcelona, Madrid, Seville and Valencia are just some of the cultural propositions

The Centre del Carmen de Valencia will hold, on Saturday 14 May at 22:00, the concert ‘Ars Antiqua’, a musical homage to Ramon Llull of the Capella Ministrers. This is a musical event that forms part of a series of concerts with music and content related to the time in which Llull lived and the places he visited. It is a musical journey through the musical references to his works.

In Madrid, the Academia La Central is holding, on Friday 13 May, the reading and writing course ‘Encuentro con la sombra’ (Meeting with the shadow), with writer and literary critic Cristina Sánchez-Andrade. This will take place in La Central de Callo from 18:30 to 20:30.

In Barcelona, Foto Colectania has opened an exhibition of ‘Every photograph is an enigma’, by Michel Frizot, with over one hundred photographs collected by the French historian over the past decades, including images by unknown artists, press photographers and amateur photographers who have captured his attention due to their unresolved nature. The exhibition will be open until 21st May.

In Seville, visit the exhibition ‘Salto de página. El libro de artista del siglo XXI’ (Turning the page. The artist’s book of the 21st century), which includes a complete selection of artist’s books and contemporary editions from artists such as Jaume Plensa, Andy Warhol, Guillermo Pérez Villalta and Rogelio López Cuenca.
