Together with Factoría Cultural de Murcia we are launching the new Foro de Expertos session this Thursday, 21st September, at 18:30 with the talk ‘El extraño oficio de soñar’ with Juan Manuel Chumilla, filmmaker, writer and artist.
The aim of this event is to contribute to training and young talent by displaying and sharing professional experiences and success stories at institutions and prestigious entities in the public and private sectors.

He combines his work as an audio-visual creator with other projects and activities related to literature, music, theatre, plastic arts, design, magic and oenology.
He won an award in the I edition of Marqués de Bradomín with the theatrical text Una acerca en la pared (Apología de la muerte por el arte), published by the Ministry of Culture. He has given conferences, taught courses and workshops at the International Menéndez-Pelayo University, the Complutense University of Madrid, Purdue-Lafayette University, University of Miami, Autor Foundation, Cinema and Television School of San Antonio de los Baños (Cuba), Instituto Sundance, etc. Amongst his works, the following installations and books stand out: (Centro de Arte Párraga, 2007), El sueño inacabado (Palacio de Almudí 2013), La extraordinaria historia del estado imaginable de Tudmiria (Lun editores, 2016) and his films El Infierno Prometido (1993-2013), the Unmaking of (o cómo no se hizo) (2004-2010), winner of awards at SEMINCI or El Agua de la Vida (2008), fruit of his collaboration with the productor Elías Querejeta,based on his story “Tiempo de Agua”.
