These eight actors and actresses have been selected from almost 400 candidates, after having successfully passed three intensive weeks of training and a final audition. Banco Sabadell Foundation collaborates with, and supports Kompanyia Lliure, with the aim of providing young talented people with new opportunities, whilst promoting culture, in this case, through theatre.

During the selection process all eight new members participated in several tests. Between the 8th and 27th February, the first 30 candidates to be selected worked on several disciplines (all day Monday to Saturday), bodywork with Joan Font, dance with Montse Colomé, singing with Xavier Mestres, interpretation with Josep Maria Mestres, Xicu Masó and Txiki Berraondo, and reading with Míriam Iscla, Pau Carrió and David Selvas. They are all first class professionals, who formed the selection panel together with Lluis Pasqual, Director of Teatre Lliure, and Aurora Rosales, associate of the theatre’s artistic management
