The Art and Design Festival (Festival de Arte y Diseño) FADfest, has awarded the best proposals in architecture, design and publicity through the Premios Habitácola, promoted by Arquinfad, and the Banco Sabadell Foundation Laus Aporta Award, granted during the Laus awards night.

In this edition, the XXIX Habitácola award has asked participants to rethink the playground space at their schools, linking it directly to the processes of discovery and learning, as a way of strengthening those experiences which take place in the classroom. In this edition, the award has been granted to two projects:

–Transpatio, for their transformative willingness of a proposal which stands out due to its programmatic value, both in terms of use and attitudes as well as its pedagogical content. This project is based on the idea of an inclusive playground which can be filled with all of the games in which one’s imagination is the main protagonist.

–Triplay, for being a proposal which facilitates uniformity and coherence to the group, it is focused on creating spaces which encourage different ways of using the playground, with solutions which are versatile, mobile and adaptable, as well as feasible.

‘Thinking out loud’ by Bendita Gloria for Anna Bonny was awarded the Laus Aporta-Banco Sabadell Foundation award 2017. This is a project in which the use of art as a way of empowering women has stood out. Furthermore, the pages of this catalogue have been classified as being full of serenity, seduction and sophistication.
