Banco Sabadell Foundation and the Universidad Católica de Murcia (UCAM) have renewed their project to promote young peoples’ employability, by signing a master agreement which aims to develop the skills and knowledge of young students and graduates of the university in order to pave the way for their entry into the professional world, and to promote human capital and talent as a source of social and economic diversity.
The programme ‘Viaje al talento’ (‘Journey towards talent’) offers young university students and graduates an approach to work which they can use to acquire tools to shape their professional future. 1,200 youths have already tried this methodology, and have managed to increase their motivation and commitment and set professional goals.
Thanks to this new agreement with UCAM, a total of 100 UCAM students will be able to take part in this programme which, in addition to the strategic employment plans of each of those taking part, will allow an ‘employability observatory’ to be created using the data collected which will reflect the uncertainties, interests and preferences of the university student community in terms of their future activities.
