The Banco Sabadell Foundation has awarded scholarships to two young students to take part in the fifth Masters in Interpretation of Classic Guitar at the University of Alicante, in order to promote talent and learning.
These two promising young classical guitarists are sure to get people talking… Hugo Moltó assures us that “this scholarship has given me the chance to move forward in my musical career, allowing me to learn from the great masters, and hopefully become one of them in the future.” This young person has performed in locations such as Carnegie Hall (New York), Winter Gallery (Washington), Auditorio Nacional (Madrid), Palau de la Música (Valencia) and the Auditorium in Alicante, amongst others. He has also performed as a solo artist at the National Auditorium and with the Valencia Orchestra at the Palau de la Música.
Andrea González said that “receiving this scholarship has made it possible for me to have a unique intensive learning experience to learn from the great masters of classical guitar.” This young guitarist has performed in international festivals such as the Szeged International Guitar Festival, the Monterrey (Mexico) Guitar Festival and the Isaac Nicola Festival (Havana, Cuba).
