The 50 pieces on exhibition were selected from almost 70 dossiers submitted to the competition. This selection was carried out by a jury comprising professionals from the sector who take a direct or indirect part in the career of young artists, either via teaching, guidance or dissemination. The ten selected, most from the faculties of Fine Arts of Spain and who have an average age of 25, are: Aïda Andrés Rodrigálvarez, Javier Artero, Sonsoles Company, Di+lA group, Mar Guerrero, Charlotte Jansen, Iker Lemos, Clara Palomar, Mònica Planes and Cristina Santos. The Banco Sabadell Foundation has fostered this initiative since its creation, thus offering access to emerging creators on the circuit of art galleries, patronage or collectors and linking the Fine Arts faculties with the professional world.
