A reminder of the three award winners in 2018:
Dr Daniel López Serrano, holder of a PhD in biochemistry, Daniel López, has won the XIII Award for Biomedical Research thanks to his innovative contribution in the field of bacterial resistance to antibiotics, and Prof. Rubén Martín, II Banco Sabadell Foundation Award for Science and Engineering, granted for his innovative and creative vision of chemical catalysis and his responses to the needs and requirements of society in a context of sustainable development.
Dr Laura Díaz Anadón, XVII Banco Sabadell Foundation Award for Economic Research for her work on climate change, which combines basic research with the development of public policies to guide the work carried out by governments and international organisations.
