–DOCfield, the Documentary Photography Festival in Barcelona is hosting 23 exhibitions which ask us to reflect on love. -Exhibition ‘’Structures of identity is the new exhibition hosted by Foto Colectania, which uses portraiture to reflect on how photography in different cultures and periods have been used to affirm or pass judgement on social stereotypes on gender, social class or nationality.
-The Prado Museum is hosting the exhibition ‘Bartolomé Bermejo’ until 27 January 2019, an exhibition which allows us to look at the technical virtuosity and suggestive visual universe of Bartolomé Bermejo, a master painter from Cordoba who painted in Corona and Aragon . -137 photographs take us on a journey through the eyes of photojournalists. The Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos de Madrid is hosting the most prestigious photojournalism exhibition in the world, World Press Photo 2018. The winning photograph of this 61st edition is by Venezuelan Ronaldo Schemidt, author of ‘Venezuela crisis’ a photograph of a young person running, engulfed in flames from a molotov cocktail, in a disturbance in Caracas. This exhibition can be visited until 10th December.
-The Valencian Institute of Modern Art (IVAM) hosts Ángeles Marco’ a new exhibition which showcases a selection of her sculptures, drawings and many more inedited works which are representative of her career. The exhibition also includes series of works (Espacios ambiguos, Entre lo real y lo ilusorio, El Tránsito y Salto al vacío), as well as newer works from 2000 spanning the period between 2000 until the artist’s death .
