AERTEC challenge, three scholarships for Imagine Express 2019

AERTEC Solutions is a specialist international aeronautics consultancy, and it is launching the third edition of its AERTEC Solutions Challenge. An initiative which seeks to capture the talent of young university students in Malaga, Granada and Seville to solve a range of real challenges in the aeronautics industry. The purpose of the programme is to offer students of any university in Andalusia, the opportunity to work on a real technology and business project, in such a way that they participate in a piece of work that can be transferred into the industry.

On 22 November we are organising a boot camp together with Aertec and Imagine to launch the challenge, and for participants to propose business ideas that contribute to improve Passenger Experience in Airports of the Future, applying new technologies in the widest sense possible (information and communications technology, new materials, artificial intelligence, cyber security, biotechnology and neuroscience. The three winners will receive scholarships from the Foundation for Imagine Express 2019.

NASA #SpaceApps Challenge 2018 and #GeneradorES with Celera

Last weekend, 19-21 October, Celera has organised Nasa #SpaceAppsMadrid, a hackathon which is held in 187 cities across the world, and which last year, brought together more than 25,000 participants. The participants, divided into teams of 3-5 persons, solve challenges created by NASA scientists and engineers, using real data. The challenges are grouped into categories: Science, Technology and Art, and they are oriented towards improving our understanding of the Earth and our place in the Cosmos.

Furthermore, on October 18th, 10 young people from Celera have participated in  GeneradorES a programme launched by Coca-Cola with the objective of changing the future of Spain. To do so, 25 young people, selected due to their exceptional talent, solved 5 challenges from the UN Sustainable Development objectives as new business objectives: climate change, education, politics, equality and social inclusion.
