B-Value is a programme co-promoted by the Banco Sabadell Foundation and the Ship2B Foundation over the past ten years to encourage the transformation of the social sector through innovation. Aimed at leaders in the third sector who work in non-profit organisations based in Spain, the programme seeks to develop their projects with a strategic vision in mind, design new income generation models, elevate their value proposition and move away from traditional philanthropic models.

The programme supports 40 third-sector organisations through an online training platform covering social innovation, project development and analysis methodologies, expert-led webinars, as well as workshops delivered by professionals with expertise in various topics. The 10 organisations that move on to the second phase participate in an intensive week of personalised workshops, where they delve deeper into their proposals according to the needs of each project, supported by mentors from Banco Sabadell and professionals from various areas (finance, communication, business) that help them further refine their proposals. In the final stage, the 10 finalists present their project at the Demo Day, a public event where the programme’s results are showcased and cash prizes and pro-bono support are announced publicly.

Each year, over 170 top-tier mentors and trainers collaborate with the programme, bringing expertise from the business and impact investment ecosystem, including 40 professional mentors from Banco Sabadell and 10 from Sabadell Seguros, who take part voluntarily, helping organisations to elevate their value propositions.
