As part of the Global Talent Programme, co-created by CIDOB and the Banco Sabadell Foundation in 2020 to promote high-quality research by early-career researchers in the field of international relations, two paid six-month research placements are offered every year at CIDOB for two young researchers.
These placements aim to support candidates in advancing their research works under the guidance of a member of CIDOB’s research team. The selected candidates participate in the institution’s research activities and contribute to one of its editorial lines and/or external publications. Awardees also take part in seminars and conferences organised by the institution.
